Encore in rhubarb pie

Sort of fruity, looks good enough to eat! I'm very pleased with how these turned out. The thread I used is my own hand dyed colorway I called "rhubarb pie", inspired by a yummy piece of the pie itself.

The earring design I came up with also. I happened to be sitting at a concert the evening after I started on the earrings, and was wondering what to call the design. I looked down at the program and saw, "Encore". Okay, "Encore" sounds good to me!

I have scribbled the pattern down, and plan to share it in the future. It will also be fun to see how it looks in different colors with different beads.

I love the earrings! Did you plan for the colors to come out so evenly, or was that just how the colors worked out? Beautiful!

Well, I did want to start out with the center ring in red. It's fun to play around and then see the results.

Any chance there will be a second encore of this color way? I got the Brilliant Sunset and LOVE it!

Yes, I can come up with something similar. Glad you are enjoying the "Brilliant Sunset"!

When you dye a batch, so you do several sizes at once? I'd love to try the smaller - #40 or 60?

Thanks!!

Yes, I can dye several sizes at once. If I know someone is interested in a certain size, I make a point of adding that size to the batch. I plan on doing another "rhubarb pie" type of colorway in a few weeks, and I can add #40, #50 or #60 -- do you have a preference? First though, I've been dyeing (pun intended!) to get going on a range of greens that would resemble foliage, leaves, stems, etc. So many colors, so little time!
