Inspired by Mary Konior

"Briar fragment" from "Tatting with Visual Patterns" by Mary Konior.

Actually, my attempt has more picots in some of the petals. I inadvertently added an extra picot in the first of the larger petals, so I just decided to be consistent!

This motif is something I'm going to use on a note card.

I love it. I really like the way the colours worked out in it. I think it would make a nice pendant.

How big is it? It looks like it would also work on a bracelet or necklace. I love how it turned out.

I think it was around 2 inches long in size 20 thread. (I've already mailed it, so I can't measure to be sure). Yes, it is a good starting point for a jewelry idea. Mary Konior's book has a lot of neat things in it.

Lovely! I'm putting together a post on my blog in memory of our Beloved Mary Konior. Do you know how hard it is to find every post you've ever done about a particular subject? LOL! I finally googled "TattingChic Mary Konior" and your blog came up with this post, LOL!
