Snow day, and how the idea's coming...

There is a bit of the holly idea in this, which is the start of a snowflake. In theory, I should be able to put spokes like the one finished all around the center, and do chains around that which should look something like a holly leaf snowflake. At least I'm trying! It's going to have a lot of ends to hide -- but I'm not going to let that stop me!
Here is a view of our snow outside!

Oh, now that's just mean! Showing me all of that snow when it is 70 degrees here! My bones had rather be warm, but heart and soul would love to see some snow!
I love the holly/snowflake progression. It is so pretty and I can't wait to see what else you so with it!

That is a neat design idea for a snowflake. I look forward to seeing the finished product.

Thank you! Tattycat, you won't need to envy my snow now that you've got your own beautiful white tree with tatted snowflakes!
Clyde, Thanks for the encouragement, I will post the finished snowflake just as soon as I get it done.
Lady Shuttle Maker, Thanks for the compliment on the new thread (which I just quietly stuck into the shop since it was a small batch). I'm so glad that I am writing down my dye "recipes" now. It will be easier to repeat a color or tweak it up a notch.

Ah ha! Quietly put it in the shop, huh? That's why I didn't see it on your blog. You are sneaky!
