Hand dyed thread "Celery"

This new dye batch is posed with the makings of a good salad -
-and the tatting shuttle is handmade by Lady Shuttle Maker. The tatted clover has a tail started in an s-chain. This technique is explained very well by Sabina Carden-Madden.
So, it will be salad for supper tonight - followed by tatting - sounds very healthy to me!

Yummy, yummy thread. Made me smile as the shuttle was so well camouflaged in the 'saladry'!!!

What a perfect match, is it the thread that is dyed to match the celery or the celery to match the thread. Beautiful colourway, bright, vibrant, alive, oh the possibilities.

I love celery! I could eat it all day long! Now I'm thinking I could tat it all day long!

Thank you very much! The vegetable props for the photo made a delicious salad. The next time I do a dye batch of "Rhubarb Pie"... well, you know where I'm going with this.

Lady ShuttleMaker, I took your shuttle with me to show the Lighthouse Lacers - they were very impressed!
