Olde Rose

I thought about calling this batch "Shabby Rose" or "Faded Rose", but decided that there is nothing "shabby" or "faded" about my hand dyed threads ;-) Actually, they're not "olde" either, but I couldn't think of a better name that was short. (I like short names for my dye batches - less to write on the tag!)

Olde Rose is very nice and now added to my want list. For sure not shabby! and for sure not faded! You used a much more appropriate name for your thread. I like it. Karen in OR

Roses aren't my favorite, but that color is gorgeous! :)

It's so pretty!

I see the name 'Olde' not as 'old/ancient', but rather 'vintage - which is the feeling that I get from this colorway

Oooo pretty! But, I have to use up some of my current HDTs before I can consider purchasing some more.

Really nice. One of my favorite Victorian colors is ashes of roses. It has a bit of brown in the red; but this olde (as in vintage) rose is lovely. I’d like to see a solid with a bit of brown hue added; but, that is just ME being me. Considering I could never do HDT, my color preferences are just ‘ideas’.

Actually the name suits the HDT very well.
