Celtic Triangle

This project is essentially the same as the Celtic Triangle that I teach in my Next Steps In Shuttle Tatting class on Craftsy. In this one I replaced some of the double stitches with beads on the core thread. The green is my own hand dyed "Leafy" and the brown is Lizbeth Fudge Dark, both size 10.

The pendant looks different on either side, so you can choose whichever side you're in the mood for to show. I finished the pendant with a wire bail that I formed myself, and a lovely silk ribbon from Quintess on Etsy.

Hi! I bought the Next Steps In Shuttle Tatting class some time ago but I haven't tried this pattern yet. I like this new version very much so I'll probably try soon. What is the size of these beads on the core thread? 11/0?
Take care,
Sylvie

Thanks, everyone!
@silvie 66 You are correct, the beads are size 11/0 on the core thread. They are about the size of a double stitch, so I just omitted the double stitch where I put the bead.

I never thought I was addicted to the internet, but there we are, after a whole week of connection problems, I'm eager to be linked to the world again! Thanks so much for your reply, and for the tip to include the beads. I'll add beads as well when I tat the pattern. (I'm also addicted to tatting but that is quite OK, right?)

One word for the Celtic pendant: Fabulous!

I need a chart and a map with pins to keep track of your travels and your Projects! And what a fun Fair to demonstrate tatting! It seems as if you never slow down! And there is also the beautiful book! Congrats!
