A bit more industrial, and "Peace"

Well, I tried all last week to come up with a new "manly" or "unisex" tatted accessory design, but got nothing but a mess of knots! Inspiration doesn't turn on like a faucet for me! The best I could do so far is this Celtic Triangle variation, which is based on the pattern in my Next Steps In Shuttle Tatting class. I put it on a 2mm round leather cord, and I like the "industrial" appearance. I need to buy more leather cord and metal beads!

For my Etsy Shop I also dyed a new batch of "Peace" thread, which is based on the colors in a Peace rose.

Greater Milwaukee Tatting Guild meeting today! To find out more, see the group blog.

Lovely pendant, very male themed and male colours. I think some women will wear it to.
Lovely colourway thread

Your pendant is wonderful! It is a bit more industrial and it's unique!

I like the dark-toned earthy pendant ! Am wondering whether it would look even more like a masculine ornament if it is strung along the side rather than at the tip ?

I love this pendant! Beautiful colours (including the beads).
The pattern is wonderful. I've made one so far - greens, light teal, and purple beads. I will certainly make more.
The beads you used for the same pattern last time were size 11/0 beads. These look much bigger; am I right? At any rate they do emphasize the industrial look.
I realize this is my first post of the year in this blog so
HAPPY 2017 EVERYONE :)

Yes, it looks masculine in those colours!

Thanks for your suggestions and encouragement, my friends!

Muskaan, yes, the triangle could be hung either way from the jump ring.

Sylvie 66, on this one I used brass metal beads, 3mm size on the center and 2mm size on the outer edge.

Another friend (not online) suggested that I get some nuts and bolts from the hardware store for industrial inspiration! Well, we'll see what happens.
