This started out like the "Swallow Tail" pendant design, but part way through it was obvious it wasn't going to work the same because I was using larger beads. So I just made the two halves without connecting them. Then I strung on the stone bead, so it could dangle off a picot from a ring. The middle is connected together with some chains and shuttle joins -- the kind that lock the chain. The larger pearls were put on long picots before I joined to them.
This design needs additional experimenting. You'll probably see a lot of variations on this before I attempt to share a pattern from this idea in more detail.
This is gorgeous! Blue is my favorite color, and I think the green really sets the whole thing off!
ReplyDeleteHey, if you need a place to dispose of this inperfect piece, I'd be glad to take it off of your hands! I would hate for it to be taking up space in a drawer somewhere, hidden away from the world! LOL These are my colors.
ReplyDeleteIt's great to know people are actually looking at this stuff! Oh, by the way, nothing that turns out good enough to show here ends up in a drawer! Into my etsy shop it goes, or set aside for the art fair.
ReplyDeleteI love your colors...so bright and cheerful. Makes me wonder why anyone would ever use white or ecru again!
ReplyDeleteI don't speak Portuguese, but according to Babel Fish the last post seemed to say something like this:
ReplyDelete"Hi, I found your blog on google well interesting, I liked this post. My blog is on personalized t-shirts, shows step by step as to create a well personalized t-shirt maneira."
How exciting to get comments from people living in many parts of the world! Thanks for the compliments, everyone.
Guess I'll have to get myself to your Etsy shop and look for this pendant!
