Here is the "Nectarine" set (on top) shown with the "Tourmaline" set (beneath, on right). I will be so thrilled to see what gets made with these!
I have made more progress on weaving bag #5. Perhaps this one will have a slightly different construction, to make the bag roomier. I'll experiment.
You are making me want to take up weaving, which I have been wanting to do anyway! I wish now I had waited to order by Nectarine. I might have to order a "set" to go with it! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful colors...sigh....
ReplyDeleteIt is good to hear that your thread is selling fast, but with such wonderful colours it is no surprise it just took folks a little while to appreciate your thread as much as we HDTA do. When I look at your blog I feel like a kid in a candy store.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors of this bag! How big are you planning to make it?
ReplyDeleteThanks for all the nice comments, everyone. I've been busy filling and shipping orders!
ReplyDeleteTattycat, I just can't shake the weaving, since my friends in the handweaver's guild think I'm a handweaver. Does that make any sense?
Kathleen, I think this bag will be the same basic size as the others, which means I need to weave about 14 inches of cloth about 5 inches wide. I think I'm going to sew it together a little differently, though - we'll see what happens.
Clyde and tattingchic, I'm glad you are enjoying the "eye candy". It has no calories or cholesterol.
Wowzers Marilee,
ReplyDeleteThese are mouth watering!
So nice to hear from you, Sherry!
