Tatting video - "Dream" pendant with beads

This 6 minute video shows several ways of working with beads, while I am tatting my Dream pattern, as a pendant. The thread I'm using is size 10 Lizbeth which I hand dyed. The seed beads are size 8/0.

Note: the one-sided leaf bead is strung onto the thread shiny side down, in order to make the shiny side come up correctly in the finished pendant. That works for this pattern!! I don't know how to make those one-sided beads come right side up in all circumstances...sigh.

I hope you enjoy this video. Be sure to turn your speakers on, the tatting is accompanied by music from SmartSound.

  4. Since I'm a visual learner, it's awesome that you did this video. Sometimes I get stumped on how I should add beads, I especially like the way you add them to picots while still working on the ring. Thanks for the tuturiol. ^_^

  6. Sometimes I come to your site, not for news or to look at your yummy colours, but to study your stitches.

They are as perfect as they get. Thanks for being such an inspiration to me, as these tiny double stitches of yours represent the level of tatting to which I aspire!

  9. Thank you all so much for the encouragement about my video. The camera is new, and I'm still learning how to use it. But, I figured that if I waited until I had "learned it all", no video would ever get done at all :)

So, I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed it!
