"Unfolding Heart" tatted necklace


Embellished with size 8/0 beads in the picots, a brass lock charm added at the bottom, and brass chain attached. I used size 10 Lizbeth cotton in the Victorian Red color.

It's the same as my basic Unfolding Heart pattern, I just added beads and chain to make it into a necklace.

    This looks great! Pretty pattern and this one in red looks really nice. Love the addition of the key and lock charms.

    I love your book, btw (Boutique Tatting)! A friend of mine surprised me around my birthday... she loved the cover and wanted me to have it (she also knew that I had been eyeing it for some time).

    I've already tatted the Duchess and the Beadazzled from it, and I really like your pattern writing style.

    That red thread is one of my favourites and I love how you have paired it with brass. The beads you have chosen are perfect.

    I'm glad you like the heart. The construction isn't really that difficult, just fiddly near the end with the final joins.
