Coming soon in the Winter issue of Belle Armoire Jewelry
Spilling the beans a few days early: a new, original pattern by me will appear in the Winter issue of Belle Armoire Jewelry magazine! It will be on sale beginning December 1st. But, I'm so excited I couldn't wait anymore to tell you all!
There is a bracelet to match the necklace and earrings that is modeled in the magazine. I put a chain on the necklace for the magazine article. The ones pictured here have ribbon attached to wire connectors for a different look, using the same pattern.
The tatting pattern with in-progress photos and a diagram will be in the magazine, I realize that some of my blog readers are not familiar with Belle Armoire Jewelry, but it is a popular jewelry craft magazine here in the USA, and I'm hoping the article will get more people interested in tatting.
Gorgeous! I think I know a pattern Imma be buyin soon! :)
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!

How exciting another wonderful piece in your creations! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteYou are so talented! These are stunning!
ReplyDeleteCongrats, that was the first magazine I had a pattern in as well! It's a lovely pattern set!
ReplyDeleteHow lovely!! Will it ever be available in your Etsy store? I live in Canada, hopefully I'll find the magazine up here. You are a talented designer!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations. Such an inspiration. I will be looking for the magazine. Hopefully Barnes and Noble will have some.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful!! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, that's great Marilee, congratulations!
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful news. Congrats!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! It's always exciting to see one's own work in print!
ReplyDeleteAs a professional courtesy to Belle Armoire Jewelry, I won't be putting the pattern into my Etsy shop until after that issue of the magazine isn't current anymore.
The Barnes and Noble store, as well as Michael's and other major craft supply stores should have the magazine on their shelves starting December 1 or shortly after. The magazine can also be ordered online. At the link posted it also shows the table of contents which can be enlarged enough to read. Looks like a lot of interesting articles in that one!
Beautiful pattern, love it,
ReplyDeleteAs I live over the pond I won't be able to buy the magazine, so I will have to wait for your pattern in your esty shop

Bardzo piękna biżuteria.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteMy first introduction to Yarnplayer was in a bead and button magazine (which I still have) We love you Marilee and all your work too. This jewelry looks amazing. Good photography too.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations, both you and tatting deserve it!!
Congratulations! I'm so glad you have a strong relationship (since 2008!) with this magazine, which recognizes your skills as a tatting expert and designer!
ReplyDeleteThey are one of the few modern magazines that acknowledges and publicizes tatting!
I love this beautiful heart and will be looking for the magazine soon!
Thanks, everyone!
ReplyDeleteKathy, you're right, the Belle Armoire and Belle Armoire Jewelry magazines genuinely support creativity and are willing to think outside of the mainstream "box".
So beautiful! Congratulations!
ReplyDeleteLove it and make a grand stand on it's own heart. Darn can't get the magazine here in the UK.
ReplyDeleteHow looong do we have to wait till you can share?
Whatever.. it is far too long...
Thanks! The magazine can be ordered from the link, but I don't know what the shipping would cost to the UK. The Belle Armoire Jewelry publication is a bit pricey compared to other craft magazines but is very high quality, nice thick paper and gorgeous photos. Definitely a classy showcase for tatting to be included with the other handmade jewelry pieces.
ReplyDeleteThese are very beautiful! I can't wait to see the pattern in your Etsy store (the magazine cost plus shipping is way too much to be worth it for me :( )
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'll get the pattern ready for Etsy in a few weeks. I'll be able to put in the complete bracelet and earring directions in my version since I won't have to worry about fitting the patterns into a limited space.
