Class project for Bead&Button |
Class project for Shake Rag Alley |
Also, even earlier this spring, on May 2, I'll be teaching Beginning Shuttle Tatting at Shake Rag Alley, Mineral Point, Wisconsin. The class project is different for that workshop, a simple star motif, no beads. But students will learn all the basic shuttle tatting skills: double stitch, rings, chains, picots, and picot join.
Maybe you have a friend who lives some distance and is planning a vacation trip, looking for a fun workshop to take. If so, do talk up my classes to them, let them know what fun tatting is and how I'm a great teacher :)
Of course, there's always the option of my Shuttle Tatting Class on Craftsy, no traveling needed!
Those earrings are so fabulous!!! I love the colors!!! :)
ReplyDeleteThe colors on your earrings are beautiful. Very nice design.
ReplyDeleteI see your starting of this year sharing your talents and the earnings are beautiful, this bead get together sounds like a great place to see and a wonderful event!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure both designs will be a big hit! Can't you picture stars floating everywhere?
ReplyDeleteThanks. The designs are simple because as you know, just getting a double stitch made correctly is a big accomplishment for a new tatter! Having a project displayed as a goal gives them something to work toward.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful earrings and colour
