Deep intense pink, shading to light lavender. Colors inspired by the orchid in the photo to the left. The tatted leaf bookmark is a design I just made up as I went along, while playing with the new thread.
No, no, no! You can't do that. I know 3 of us that will be broke if you do. Jeff and Clyde have orchids as well. I don't know how many others. LOL Really, I would love to see an orchid series. It would have to be beautiful.
WOW! That is scrumptious!
ReplyDeleteThe color is just outstanding! I love it! The leaf ain't bad, either.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful. Looks just like one of my Phalenopsis orchids - the thread and the orchid!
ReplyDeleteI love the colour of this thread and I have an orchid that is exactly the same colours.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, everyone.
ReplyDeleteSo it is a "Phalenopsis" - I was wondering what kind of orchid it was! There wasn't a sign at the botanical exhibit.
There are so many colors of orchids, that I thought I might do a series.

ReplyDeleteTattycat, I know you are only teasing, LOL. I hope to do the next one in the "Orchid" series later this week.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Joy, I did my best to capture the color as it is in reality.
Miss Nancy, that is so nice of you to say. Thank you very much.
