The pattern is vintage and in the public domain. It's in the Priscilla Tatting Book number 3, and is a free download found on the Antique Pattern Library website https://www.antiquepatternlibrary.org/html/warm/tatting.htm scroll down and look for a green cover. Also found in a House of White Birches tatting book number 5.
The pattern is quite easy to vary in size once the basic pattern is understood.
As always your tatting is impeccable and in great colors. It'll be fun to see how you use the leaves.
ReplyDeleteLove them. I’m sure they’ll be used in a bigger project when the time is right.
ReplyDeleteWonderful!! :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe more jacket embellishments?? ;)
I have never visited this site and loved looking at the old advertisements and patterns! Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWonderful leaves, I am sure you will find a use for them, thank you for the link to the pattern
ReplyDeleteExcellent! Wonderful tatted leaves.
ReplyDeleteI like your idea of "comfort tatting" and how you explore the Priscilla book. I still am stumped how to fully utilize that stitch they show on the page with the leaf diagram and directions. More to discover!
ReplyDeletePicotsnkeys I think what they called "knot stitch" is what we call "split chain": OldTatting
