The photo above shows my latest dye batch "Peace", which was inspired by the colors of a "Peace" rose.
I have also been attempting to add a few solids to my hand dyed color selection. The photo below shows the solids I have done so far.
I have also been tagged! I will respond in the next post. Thank you, Diane!

Oh Marilee, What beautiful colours. You and my pension board are going to have to have a serious talk about the empty state of my wallet and the importance of hand dyed threads.
Well, Clyde took the words right out of my mouth. As I was waiting for the comment box to open, I was going to say "Oh Marilee, what beautiful thread!" DH has urged me to agree not to buy any more thread right now. I know he is right, but you are killing me! Wish my hubby loved hand dyed threads as much as Clyde and I do!
I'll just need a continuing stream of new buyers in order to keep going. Teach people to tat!
This is gorgeous! You have got the "Rose" combination down! I love it!
I have just tagged you for a Make My Day Award for your beautiful threads and your lovely patterns.
I love these colours, and you have them in my favourite size 80...this is a real dilemma. What do you charge for postage to Europe I wonder....
(It's OK I'm sure it's marked on the Etsy site somewhere, I'm just thinking aloud, if only I knew how much I'd be eaning in February, I just hope you don't sell out...)
The charge to Europe is included in the "everywhere else" category on my Etsy pages. It's listed in U.S. dollars, but I don't know how that exchanges for different countries; PayPal takes care of all that automatically.
Anyway, don't worry if I sell out, because I have been keeping careful records ever since "Winter Blend" on how to produce specific colors.
