The class took place on Lace-lovin' Librarian Diane's porch. Here Diane is sewing a tatted motif designed by a young student onto a handkerchief. |
The view of nature's beauty from Diane's porch is so peaceful! The weather was perfect, with a refreshing breeze. |
Sue Anna and Diane with the Saori loom that Diane has been busy weaving colorful bags on. Notice the neatly shelved books? Obviously a librarian lives here :) |
Diane showing us one of her shuttle cabinets where she stores her collection in style. |
Some of the fancy shuttles in Diane's cabinet. I think she said the ones in this drawer were handmade by LadyShuttleMaker. |

So much fun. Great to have you along!
I'm glad you all had a good time - and what fun to catch a bite with Denise, too!!!
Lovely weather. Should be nice this and next week per t.v. news.
Wow. Sounds like a great day out... and what an awesome tree house!
Great pictures! I feel as though I'm observing Diane's place with you. I'm sure the children enjoyed meeting other tatters too.
Ahh Diane is shy to show off her beautiful place! Glad you did it for her :) well you all had such a wonderful time, it's what tatting dreams are made of!
What a lovely house and garden, wow, I can't match that, and the books stacked up in neat rows, don't bring here over here of course she could always sort my books out and make them look fab.
I wish I could have joined you but I am just too far away, those kids must have been on top of world when they left.

It was a beautiful day! I'm surprised that so many are interested in pictures of my home. Maybe I should show it off a bit more... with pictures of my friends gracing it, of course!
