Progress on the book has been made to the stage of final editing, wooo-hooo!!! I'll work on it the rest of this week. I am aiming to get it to the printer sometime first week of July. Not revealing the title, yet - keeping that a surprise!
The fancy closures in the photo above are going to be in the book. I did another model in light blue for the how-to photos, since black is so hard to see.
Once this book is out of the way, then I'll have time to get back to hand dyeing thread.
And I gotta tat another "Belle" pendant like the one pictured, since it is going in the book and all of mine were sold. The pattern was scribbled down a year ago or thereabouts, so I need to tat it again to see how it works, get some in-progress photos, etc.
Whew! I will be very glad when this book is finally done! It'll be 28 pages. I have no more patience than that!
Yes, I'm still at it. Here's a sneak peek at one of the photos. This one shows a Self-Closing Mock Ring (SCMR) around a bead, being finished with a Lock Join (LJ). No time to explain these things just now - but am trying to do a good description in the book. Gotta keep working!
I really am not a "big project" person. I like stuff that moves along fairly quickly. So, this book of original patterns that I've been working on for months now is very much a major effort for me. The good news is that I HAVE come up with a title (not saying what it is...yet...but it WON'T be Boutique Tatting 2!) The book is about half done, I think, so it'll go faster now! The photo above shows one of the projects that will be in the book.
