April has arrived!

LOL! Mr. Snowman won't last long!

It's wonderful to see things growing again.

I was "stuck" on what to do next with this doily design, sampling, cutting out, and sampling again, but I may get it to work yet.

I'll be dyeing some more thread in the "Pansy" series - "Purple Pansy" and "Blue Pansy" now, which will be different from the "Soft Pansy" I did last week. There can never be too many pansies, LOL!

Look at that melting snowman! The white tatting looks so beautiful against the pale sky blue background! Like lacy clouds in the sky!

Happy International Tatting Day to you! :)

Happy Spring! I'm surprised my little corner of Michigan doesn't have 3 or 4 inches of the white stuff on the ground. The daffodils and crocuses (croci?) are blooming. You'll be in full bloom before you know it. Happy Tatting Day, Marilee!

Happy Tatting Day back at 'ya!

I like your "blue sky" comparison, TattingChic.

Steph, there are a few crocuses blooming in the neighborhood here, but no daffodils yet. Very nice to hear about how spring is progressing on your side of the lake!

Happy Tatting Day, Marilee! The doily is looking as crisp as new snow (or lacy clouds). I'm sure it will work out; it is so pretty. Double chocolate for me because I finally got Blogger to accept my comments again. I have a voice!

Thanks, Diane. I'm glad you agree about the pansies.

Thanks, Bonnie, I hope you've been having a fun Tatting Day!

Nice to hear from you, Suzanne. That's great that the blogger issues are fixed now. Thanks for the encouragement on the doily, and enjoy your Tatting Day chocolate!

Poor little snowman. I know you will be glad to see him go! The doily is coming along beautifully.

LOL, Tattycat, the snowman only lasted a few hours, and you are right, I was not sorry at all to see him go! Almost all the snow is gone now at time of this writing.
Thanks for encouragement on the doily.

Aw, shucks, such high praise - thank you, Allison :-)
Yes, I am coming up with this doily design myself. It's not finished yet. I hope it will turn out to be a pattern good enough to publish.
