Loominosity show

Handmade jewelry by various artists
This years's Loominosity was a group exhibit and sales event covering 4 days, organized by two guilds: the Wisconsin Handweavers and the Loose Bead Society.

Some of my tatted jewelry was in the sale, and I demonstrated tatting on Saturday.

Later that afternoon I was surprised to meet Sue Anna of Sue Anna's blog! She is an absolutely wonderful lady! (Tatters are such nice people!) Not only did she make the trip to come see me at this event, she brought gifts! Thank you, Sue Anna!

It was great to finally meet you! I have loved your work for along time. And you are as gracious in person as on your blog! The Loominosity show was great. So many beautiful weaved, beaded and lace work to look at. A definite event to attend next year also! Hope your show in December is a success for you!

Thank you, Gina, it does look like quite a few items sold! There wasn't much left to bring back home :-)
I expect a nice check from the show committee to come in the mail!

Thanks, Jane - we do look happy on the picture, don't we?! It was a total delight to meet Sue Anna.
I didn't have any HDT at this show because I didn't think it fit into the "bead" category, but maybe the organizers would want me to bring some next year. There were kumihimo braiders working on the other side of the room, and the comment was made that HDT would be wonderful for kumihimo...yet another market!

TAT19540, I have to admit that I was sort of like a deer in the road facing headlights when you walked up and introduced yourself as someone who follows my blog! It took me a little while to place you as Sue Anna...I knew you as "TAT19540" - LOL!
It was a total delight to meet you!!! I'm glad you enjoyed the Loominosity show. Thank you so much for the very thoughtful gifts, I will make use of them, for sure!

TattingChic, you're right, it was so sweet of Sue Anna to bring me those very special gifts. The "booth" was shared by 22 guild members at this event. But, I will have a booth of my very own at the Artisan Market on Dec. 4 and 5 at Discovery World.
