A design to compliment the "Swords Into Plowshares" necklace.
Even though the imagery isn't obvious, I still think they're pretty. And, as a gift to my blog readers:
The earring pattern is available for free!
I've prepared it as a PDF file,

Other exciting news: I've been informed that I will soon have a tatting article published in Bead & Button Magazine, in the April 2012 issue. Yippee!

A good book for beginners is "Learn to Tat" by Jeanette Baker which comes with videos on a DVD.

Thank you Marilee it is very kind of you to share your patterns. Congratulations on being published again you do a wonderful job of keeping tatting in the news.
Clyde, thanks so much. Sometimes people seem to think I'm just doing shameless self-promotion, but actually it's the beautiful craft of tatting that deserves more attention.
