Garden Afternoon

Here's a new batch of thread that I hand dyed myself, in the ever-popular colorway that I call "Garden Afternoon". The great outdoors is bursting with so much color this time of year, and I find it really inspiring.

The tatted bit in the photo is yet another experiment that may or may not lead to an interesting design, we'll see.

Do I see a ...what?... an AERO sitting there so discreetly overshadowed by the ever-lovely Garden Afternoon?

Garden Afternoon is right up on top with my favorite threads. Everything I've ever made with it turns out nice. Karen in OR

Spot on with the name for this HDT, lovely colors.
Knowing you and your tatting, that tatted bit will turn into something. I am sure of it.

Thanks!
Yep, that's a real Aero shuttle in the photo, one of the originals not made anymore. I like it, but I still like Clover shuttles better...we all get attached to our favorite tools, don't we? :)

The experimental tat didn't turn out into anything interesting, so it's going into my very full "ideas bag". But, sometimes I do get a good idea from something in there!
