I'm so excited that my Shuttle Tatting course has launched on Craftsy! If you're not familiar with Craftsy, it's the fastest growing craft community on the web, and tatting is there, too!
The advantages to taking a Craftsy course is that it's available to watch whenever you want, as many times as you want. You can ask questions and receive feedback from the instructor and other students. You can post photos of your projects and be inspired by seeing other people's projects.
In my regular live, in-person tatting classes such as held at craft fairs, I can only teach maybe 5 beginners at a time. But, in my online Craftsy course, there is the potential to teach thousands of students - yet, each student can see close-up views in HD quality video and audio to see exactly how the tatting is being done.

This is wonderful, Marilee! Good luck with this super endeavour.
I love that you have a Blue Pimpernel shuttle as your demonstrator in the first part! LaCossette will be so pleased!
Fox ; ))
I purchased the class yesterday, and I think you did a fabulous job! I've already picked up a few tips just from a quick skim through the videos.
I'm going to purchase the class as soon as I get home from work tonight. Maybe this, along with your email, will finally get me over the block I have had for years.
Fabulous! I posted the link to all my friends on FB, I have had a few ask me before where to learn, lets see if any sign up for the class... Good luck hun, really happy for you !
Bri.
Congratulations, Marilee! The preview looks fabulous! It is so exciting to have such a an expertly produced tatting class with such an excellent teacher available to people who want to learn. I will certainly be sharing this with anyone who shows the slightest interest in tatting.
I'm so excited for you ***happy dance***
Thanks so much, everyone, this is really exciting! Have you ever thought that if there were 2 of you, that you could get a lot more done? Well, now it feels like I've got a "virtual me" teaching while I'm finishing other projects :)
Awesome! I do hope you get a lot of pupils and enlarge the tatting community by leaps and bounds.
Congratulations and well done on being able to do a tatting clas on the web.

Well done, I think you are very brave standing up infront of cameras for it to be filmed. Sadly I was unable to watch the preview as it said error! Will try again another day.
I purchased the class. I'm pretty excited to go thru all the sections. I put a link in the sidebar of my blog - hope ok with you. It goes to the Craftsy page.
Having had a couple of real classes, this will be GREAT for all those tips I still have not picked up + techniques I have not been able to do.
Thx for all you do!!! We all need to master the art of bi-location; we'd get so much accomplished.
I learned tatting with Nina Libin who teaches it with beads loaded onto the shuttle also. A friend sent me your link. I will check this out later tonight when I get in...tatting really doesn't get much publicity and I find it can be relaxing at times....
Congratulations Marilee! I subscribe to some sewing classes on Craftsy and imagine my surprise when I saw your class being offered. I thought ... hey, I "know" her ... before she was famous! LOL!!
Again ... my best wishes!
