Double the fun

Using 2 colors of thread as one, with one of them solid and the other variegated, gave an interesting effect to this tan and brown necklace from my
"Dream" pattern. I used 2 strands of "Omega" size 30. This doubled thread did not tat up as large as the size ten "Flora" that was used for the red necklace.
Interesting.

I love how the varigated thread worked up....very beautiful! And to use a split ring with the lobster claw is genius! Once again, how nice of you to share your pattern. When things settle down here I may try making a split ring or two ..its been years! I once made a split ring 'bag' years ago but no longer have it. I'm still in the small orch.group and practising ernestly. Thats over next week though. Humbling and enjoyable by turns!

Forgot to say, I made 14 of your delightful little butterfly bookmarks. I have my church friends in mind as some of the recipients. And my most fabulous news which I am saving for a future post when I'm not so busy...at the Sheep & Wool Festival we bought me a Lendrum spinning wheel, which I'm loving..!!!!
