More sets

This is what came out as a dye series set for "Rhubarb Pie". I think the dark pink next to the red should have been lighter, maybe, to blend better. But still, these colors look so cheerful and spring-like.

Taking a break from dyeing this week - I have to play my cello in a big concert this weekend, so I need to practice, practice, practice!

But I still want to tat a hair scrunchie like the one on TattingChic's blog!

Thank you, Clyde. We are having spring here now - sort of.
TattingChic, I know times are tough. It is for me too, that's why I have to sell my HDT to help make ends meet. It isn't hard to run an etsy shop - you could open your own, sell some things, then you could afford the HDT. Why not give it a try?

I love your Rhubarb set! I was just going through some of your older posts and saw your "Dyeing Art" one...we have a very similar process. Enjoy your concert!

Thank you, LadyShuttleMaker, I wish you could attend the concert, too!
Snappish, I'm glad you came to visit my blog! It's so nice to hear from another crochet thread dyer. The more color, the better!

Good Luck with your concert this weekend!! I wish I could hear you play!

On your blog there is a picture of a lady playing a cello. Did you weave that picture, a self portrait? What a nice piece of art work.

Thank you, Carol. Yes, I did design and weave the picture of the lady playing the cello. It wasn't really intended to be a self-portrait (I don't have that much hair!) but it has turned out to be one, I guess. So whenever I get really frustrated with the cello, I realize that I have to keep going because it is part of my identity!

My Rubarb Pie threads arrived this morning and they are so very scrumptious! :-)

And I treat myself to a pair of Marilee's Rose Coloured earrings - her own design. Running out of superlatives here.

And so fast at getting here - ordered on the 13th here on the 15th!

Now all I need is time to play :-)

Thank you, Sue. It appears that the mail service is faster going across "the pond" than it is anywhere in North America, LOL!
Hope you get lots of time to play.
