Presenting "Corsage" hand dyed thread

The next HDT in my "Orchid" series - this variety reminds me of the elegant corsages seen only on very special occasions. I think this is one of my personal favorites.

There are so many wonderful, heartwarming comments on my giveaway post. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to visit. I hope you found my blog interesting enough to come again!

Marilee, I love your idea of orchid inspired HDT colours. If you run out of ideas there are about 70 orchid photo's on my blog.

Another winner. You are doing a great job of capturing the colors. Bill and I are going to have to strike a deal so I can do some shopping!

Thanks! There is also a striped orchid that I really like, but I haven't figured out how to get stripes on thread yet. I suppose that when it was tatted up it would look sort of "tweed", hmmmm...

I love my new thread from you, Lavender Orchid. This color is wonderful also!
I have been tatting up earrings with the Rose and Midnight oil- can't wait to see how the Lavender Orchid looks!

I haven't been tatting lately, (trying to finish a belated Christmas present) but all this pretty thread is inspiring me!
