I was so excited to see these new shuttles at Handy Hands and hope to order them. They are a shorter length than netting needles (which is great) , and they work perfectly for this project! Of course your tutorial is beautifully presented, as usual! Thank you again for sharing yet another technique!

Lovely pattern and it looks so easy by the way you explain it, I think I must try and buy one of those shuttles, may have to try and get one from America as I have not seen them here in the UK. Investigation starts today.

Thanks for the nice comments, everyone. It seems that a thin, flat shuttle could be make out of a plastic lid or milk jug that was ready to be recycled, too, but I haven't tried that yet.
