Random Act of Kindness Giveaway
To be entered in this giveaway drawing, you need to do 2 things: leave a comment on this post, and do something nice for someone. The world needs more kindness.
The prize package includes 2 of my pattern books, a tatted bracelet handmade by me, an assortment of metal filigrees (aka "doodads"), a Sunlit tatting shuttle, a size 14 crochet hook, and a colorful assortment of hand dyed thread!
I'll draw a lucky winner on Tuesday, July 1.

What a fab giveaway, please can I be entered into your giveaway. I promise to do something kind to someone tomorrow and will let you know what I did,
The world needs not only kindness but peace too

I love your work!!! I also love that you are requiring two things on this giveaway. Nice requirements. Nice lady!
Your works are amazing! I really need a refresher course.
I try to do a random act daily, I just gave out one of my sewn hair clips to the cites little girl at the Aldi in South Milwaukee!
I would love to win! Thanks for doing this! And I will definitely do a random act of kindness tomorrow!
This is awesome!! I dont think I can top your random act of kindness but I think I will buy the person behind me in Tim Horton's drive thru a coffee for my random act.
I have done something kind! And I love your giveaway message. : ))
Such a nice thing to do for someone!
WOW! What a giveaway! Thanks for doing such a nice thing. :) I am taking a needy friend to dinner this evening-hope that qualifies as an act of kindness. Please include me in the drawing.
This is such a nice thing for you to do! I'm presently heading put of town to drop some ingredients, only available in Santa Maria, to a new friend 30 miles away. Don't know if that qualifies as random except she didn't ask-I text'd her and asked her the status of said ingredient. Doesn't matter though, since #1 never gets picked. ;-)
Lol
What a great giveaway from an awesome person!
Thank you for being so kind yourself.
And thank you for entering me in the drawing.
My act of kindness happened today at church. Our keyboard player is leaving us temporarily to go to school in TX (from NC) for music. Not sure what else this young man can learn, he's awesome already! And we gave him some money to help him fulfill his dream. Although finances are low, it felt real good to do this. I'm happy for him and will miss him greatly! Hope that counts.
what an awesome giveaway! good things will be done tomorrow - i'll buy coffee for whoever is behind me in line. it's always nice when your morning coffee is paid for.
What a wonderful giveaway! I agree about RAoK I try to do it as often as I am able. Happy Tatting! Linda :)
Brilliant idea for a giveaway - count me in :)
Well I am leaving a comment, but the doing something nice thing, I have to think about :) And I only have a day left for this task!
Count me in! I do something nice for someone daily. :)
Thank you so much for the opportunity. I live with a housemate for the past 15 years, everyday, we do something kind for each other. I have been giving away my abundant squash to my neighbors. A new family moved into my neighborhood and I took a antique child's desk for her 2 year old, that was yesterday. Today, I did a few small stuff. Doing kind deeds is rewarding, it's a blessing to give!
Wow!
You are a great inspiration!
Thank you for such a sweet giveaway. I love your thread and your kindness.
What a wonderful act of kindness. I would love to be considered for this.
My act of kindness, I am surprising my neighbors with a home cooked meal.
I love your work. I have you to thank for getting me into Tatting!
Random acts of kindness are a wonderful giveaway theme.
I try to help others in need when I can. I never ask for anything in return, but just helping someone feels good. I will be participating in this today!
Thank you
This is a great giveaway, please enter me. My random act of kindness was helping a lady in a wheelchair get her groceries into her car while her son got her into the car.
I already have the book "Tatted Jewelry", but never mind I would be very happy to win this wonderfull gift. And for the act of kindness, I often offer hand-made jewels. I've to make tatted earings for my children's former nanny (with your pattern), a beads bracelet for a colleague and a tatted bracelet for a friend... and I will not stop there ^^. Thanks for all.
What a lovely idea. I promise to do something kind and I really enjoy your work!
What a great giveaway! I love your designs and they inspire me to try my own ideas.
I am donating a few tatted headbands to a friend. Her daughter was recently diagnosed with cancer and they are having a fundraiser to help with her expenses. I wanted to make something pretty she could wear while going through chemo and came up with the idea of making headbands.
Hi Marilee, Thank for that you are doing.
Your creativity is source of inspiration for me.
I lost my job 3 yeras ago and so I approache this world of which I was fascinated and I started my first realizations. In two weeks I'll make my first flea market.
I would like to help Others like you helped me!!

I'm not sure this posted the first time. Sorry if it's a repeat! Just wanted to say that I love the idea for a give away. I bought your class but haven't taken it yet. Love the blog!
Me parece muy generoso de tu parte el compartir con todas nosotras, tus admiradoras, tus trabajos. Te estoy muy agradecida.
Que Dios te de muchos años de vida, para seguir haciendo cosas tan bellas.
Un saludo.

I love this idea! Now I just have to go find something kind to do for someone . . .
Teresa
This is very nice of you to do this. Those thread colors are beautiful. I always try to do be nice and do nice things every day. Thank you.
I will send a pattern to my sister as my random act. And then tomorrow I will create a pattern for a friend who wants a special pattern for her grandson.
They are such small things, I think I had better do two.
I helped one of the old ladies carry her stuffed shopping bag up 3 flight os stairs, though I do that every time I catch them doing it without asking for help.
I'll find something kind to do tomorrow :) (though that very well might end up sharing my umbrealla if the weather forecast is to be believed!)
Bardzo chętnie wezmę udział w zabawie tylko nie wiem czy mogę. Nagrody bardzo kuszą :-) Co do dobrego uczynku to jutro mam pierwszy dzień w pracy więc będę miała okazję się wykazać :-)
Pozdrawiam serdecznie :-)
Grumble, grumble, groan, groan. Do something NICE for somebody and break the habits of a lifetime? Hmmmmmm, not sure this old git knows how. I'll do my best, though!!!!
What a lovely giveaway! You are very generous. I have some supplies to learn to tat with, but guess I'm afraid of failure. I love "paying it forward" acts of kindness and will certainly find an act to do. Thank you for this opportunity.
oooh <3
so, i'm in the middle of making a random blanket for a friend that's having a baby in a moment - does that qualify? or maybe teaching random people on the tram to crochet? :D
also, the best giveaway requirement ever, kudos <3
:)
How nice! What a great idea. Now for my act of kindness ...
Best idea ever! Im going to go water my neighbor's flowerbed.
I would love to win. I just did a RAK yesterday, but will look for another one to do tomorrow in case that doesn't count. :)
What a fantastic giveaway, that is kindness itself. Tomorrow I have offered to drive someone to the nearest town to do some shopping, hope that qualifies.
What a wonderful giveaway!!! So many times a little kindness can make such a huge difference! I will spend each day this week doing something kind for someone :)
Yo regalo los libros del colegio que mis hijos no usan a quien mas lo necesita. Le regalé mi coche a unos vecinos necesitados y una labadora nueva . Todo este mes y me gustaría participar en este sorteo
Awesome idea! I'll do my best to do something nice for someone else.
Arent you the sweetest peach!!! Please include my name into your drawing.
What fun ; )
Please enter me in the giveaway! 2 acts of kindness in 1 week: A neighbor's daughter was struggling to get a pull-start lawn mower to work. It was evening and she still had a lot to mow. I took the riding mower down and helped her out. She eventually got her mower working again (the throttle cord had broken) and we finished together. And then another neighbor's riding mower isn't working yet, so loaned him ours for a day. Will continue to look for opportunities!
I am giving a table loom to the Cancer clinic :)
There is such healing power in all the fiberarts!
Your giveaway is so gorgeous- thank you for your kindness!
And, I'll definitely do more random acts of kindness, too :)
I would love to be entered!
Acts of kindness. Do these count, this is what I did this past week for others. I beaded earrings for my oldest daughter. I baked bread for a neighbor who is not feeling well. My youngest and I walked another neighbors dog because she hurt her foot.
Funny, I don't necessarily think of those things as "acts of kindness". Just part of being able to live with myself as a person. :)
Love the giveaway! Best of luck to everyone!

I read your blog regularly and love the beautiful jewelry that you design. I am glad to pass on the happiness with a random act of kindness tomorrow. Thanks for the chance to be a winner.
Woo hoo, count me in. I've current showing a little boy how to do various crafts. They don't have art classes in elementary schools, in this area, and they are missing out. Hopefully, more kids will come and learn as well.
Please enter me. I take care of my son who has combat P.T.S.D
So nice ! I have your book, but want to get new one.
Sakiko Otsu from Japan.
You have beautiful work and give me such inspiration to push myself to advance my skills....recently I decided to use some of your designs to make a few things for my sister to sell as a donation for Relay For Life here in MN. Its a charity close to our hearts and i wanted to contribute in some way.....I found beads with the pink ribbon symbol to add to my tatting and theyve turned out beautiful, l cant wait to get them finished and delivered to her...Thanks for the inspiration, would love your books and thread!!
Marilee you are always the best!! Such generous with us and with the others throught us!! Next weekend i'll give some free tatting class to some little girls that love this techique...i do not know if thus can help the world but for sure will make these children smile!!!! Thank you for the opportunity!!!
Great Idea Merilee! I'm in. My random act is on it's way. I'm still cleaning my husband's "shop" so it might be a day or two before I see anyone to be random on. Maybe I can be random via computer:)) I'll work on it.
This was meant to be!! I plan to order one of your books this week for my daughter who is searching for a 4H project for the upcoming county fair. Last year she made your Dream necklace, earrings and pendent to show at the fair and won Grand Champion!! So we are back for a new idea and possibly thread to make whatever she chooses with. This giveaway would be the PERFECT set up for her project of the year.
My act of kindness was taking some home cooked meals for the week to my 81 year old father who lives alone. He is pretty self sufficient, but there is nothing better than home cooked fair.
Thank you for your generosity!! Love keeping up with you on Facebook.
Reita Nipper
I forgot to add that the Dream set went on to the Kansas State Fair and received a Purple!!
What a wonderful giveaway! I love the colours of the yarns, and I have always wanted to have a go at tatting onto those little motifs so I would love to win. Tomorrow I will be driving my mum to a hospital appointment - her sixth in ten days.
Wonderful giveaway, your work is very inspiring to me, always! (and I´ve never tried your thread, would love to try). And since Norway is an akward place (to say the least) to get tatting stuff, this would be very exiting!
I´ve started working on a tatted surprise for a very special lady with a giving, loving heart! She sews wonderful things, so hopefully she can use some of it in a piece :) So yes, a random act, even if it will take a few days to finish :)
Last week we were at the doctor office. When we were leaving there was this lady who was walking around and I said to my husband we had to go back, caused it look like she didn't know where she park her car. I ask her and she said she misplace her car didn't know where it was. Ask her to get in our car we take her on the other side. She park it near a church parking lot. She would of been there a long time if we would not had help her find it.

I recently bought your "Up and Tat´em" and "Beaded tatting", and must say I LOVE THEM!
My tatting is good therapy for me, and the more inspiration the better!
I´m dealing with traumarelated problems, too big for me to handle alone, so I´m currently hospitalized for a boost in the right direction. My random act of kindness will be for myself, since that´s probably the hardest one of all. So - tomorrow I´ll try to be nice to myself, and I´m pretty sure that I´ll soon be back home with my family! <3
Thanks for being an inspiration <3
What a great idea!!! I agree....kindness is so important!!
I actual purchased coffee today for the car behind me in line today!!
Please count me in!!
Kelly
Thank you for hosting a giveaway! For my act of kindness I will be making dinner for my sister tomorrow. :)
I am always available to be on hand for whatever my Chicklets need. I share love for Tatting to whomever wants to listen to me when I am in Michaels or JoAnns. Please enter me in your own giving kindness to have this contest. Thank you Marilee even if I don't win..now to check out your Etys store. It has been awhile.
We are lucky you want to share your kindness with us :)
yesteray I helped old lady to leave an underground - it was quite late, she was staying at station and holding the wall, she was scared to go alone to the lift, because the floor was too slippy for her :]
I felt more happy then :]
I'm taking my sister and her husband out for dinner tomorrow eveing. Was planning to do that anyway, and will probably tat a bookmark for someone I know who needs a little 'encouragement' lately. Please count me in on the drawing.

Such a lovely idea!
I would love to be enterd in this contest i love your books and your thread. I do random ats of kindness each week at work i have been tatting bookmarks and giving them to the residents
Yes, please, may I be entered for a chance to win this glorious giveaway? I found a lost dog today, running loose (no collar). Ran home for some treats and was able to get the dog to come to me. I hugged and petted it and fed it treats until a frantic owner caught up to him. Turned down payment from the owner. (I find a lot of stray pets, but am just happy they get home safe.) more acts of kindness to come!
Your work is so beautiful and you are so generous!"The creations of the hands are an expression of the spirit." Everywhere we go, my husband and I take $5 bills attached to brochures that tell people that God loves them. We give them to people on street corners, those in need, or whoever God directs us to give them to.
The yarn is so beautiful. Thanks for the chance to win. I love the requirements for this. If only people would be kind everyday the world would be a better place. :)
Love your books and thread. What a wonderful giveaway. I would love to be entered into your giveaway.
What a great idea! My random act of kindness - I'm going to tat up one of your patterns for a friend for no occasion whatsoever!
Tat it forward!!! Lol (as in Pay it forward, but I was being corny ;)
I bought a meal for this soul sitting on the footpath in the middle of peak hour, everyone rushing off to work. She had a sign next to her, asking for coins, saying she had lost her job, homeless etc. yes I know the story could be a con but everyone needs food right? But you should have seen her face when I asked her what did she exactly need money for.
II also gave her a little tattedflower that I had in my portable tatting bag,and asked her to do something nice for someone today. She nodded and gave me a big smile.
I hardly do this sort of thing, esp now that I've just been made redundant. But every once in a while, instead of walking away or just giving coins, I like doing something a bit different. And I thought of Marillee's post, and wanted to do it, regardless of the prize... The biggest prize for me is doing a little something for a random stranger, because at least I still have a roof over my head and not sitting on the sidewalk.
RAoK are so necessary in our world! I'm always on the lookout for people who may need a little something to brighten their day - even if it's only a kind greeting to let them know someone else sees them and think they matter. <3
Thank YOU for YOUR kindness and generosity! I share our fruits with everyone, the rhubarb always finds bellies to fill, soon it will be rasberries. Doing something nice is always on my list.
Would love to get a copy of your book. My birthday is on the 4th July so would be a wonderful gift.
Soñar no cuesta nada y yo soñaré que me gano este hermoso premio, pero también cumpliré con hacer una buena obra, si todas las que nos hemos inscrito aquí lo cumplimos mañana será un día más lindo.
Do dogs count? I am in whippet rescue and have had 4 dogs in the last 2 months. I am lucky the breed is not more popular.

A wonderful giveaway. Please enter me. I love to do random acts of kindness and will do another one tomorrow.
For me, I would keep the threads, hook, and the shuttle for myself. The rest, if I do win it - I will give to those who I know will use it.
What a generous giveaway! I am sewing sleeves into tiny baby gowns for a dear friend. She will smock them and donate to a local hospital.
You are such an inspiration on so many levels! I love random acts of kindness. Tomorrow's will be washing my 86 year old mom's windows while she's away in Hawaii!
What a great idea. The world is a kinder place because of you. And more beautiful because of your work. I try to do something kind every day.
I almost didn't see your Facebook post and I am glad that I did. I love your designs, have wanted to try your yarn and I really enjoy helping people because so many have helped us through our hard times over the last few years. Two years ago this August our son Nathan passed away. He didn't have much and what he did have we tried to sell and put the money we received in an account for his daughter who lives in Pittsburg with her mother, his ex-girlfriend. What we could not sell we gave to his friends. It was very difficult to get rid of his things but we had no where to keep them. Everything was gone except for our car we let him use. My husband and I couldn't stand to drive it so it sat in our driveway wasting away. Nate had a very close friend who now does a lot of things for us that Nate previously did. His friend needed a car. So we thought what a good thing to do with the car. We gave the car to him from Nate. Nate would have been pleased and it made us happy as well. The only problem is when we hear the car pull into the driveway we think it is Nate. I am sure Nate is watching over his friend while he is driving the car.
Lovely giveaway!
Please count me in, I follow the rules:)
Please count me in, and the act of kindness was today I helped my friend fix food for her son's baptism dinner.
Count me in too!
Love, love, love your ideas and designs. I am teaching my friend to tat this week!
Absolutely love your work, thread and books! I donated a whole bunch thread and yarn I wasn't using to a local nursing home and taught a few to how to tat today!
Such a lovely idea!
Hey I love your blog and work! I think it's absolutely stunning. The world could use more kindness which is why I donate a ton and do a lot of volunteer work.
Great gifts! Your patterns and HDT are wonderful. I took my 93 yr. old neighbor dinner this eve. Karen in OR
What a great giveaway!
You are very kind!
What a great giveaway! I have been donating lots of yarn and fabrics to local charities, with more to do next week.
Marianne
What a giveaway.... Wish I can earn a chance to receive the gift and I will teach anyone who want to learn the tatting way.... Biggest crafter's gift is to infect others with the craze of the craft itself. Teaching them the beauty of the craft and how it can be used to earn a living as well as a hobby. Don't you agree ?
That assortment of thread makes my fingers itch. And this weekend I donated 5 pairs of earbobs to an auction to benefit United Way!

Lovve your work and I usually find you hannging out at intatters :)

Such a beautiful idea! The prize is fabulous but the fact that you moved us to think about a kind gesture we made or we can do, this makes it perfect!
A wonderful giveaway. Please enter me. I love to do random acts of kindness and pay it forwards. I would pray that these are a constant instead of random acts for me as an action of love for my fellow man. Thank you for your aok!
Wonderful giveaway!
It would be perfect for making a gift for my best friend's birthday.
I love your work.
Keep up with it! :)
Ooh that's a brilliant idea!! So, I'm leaving a message here, and if you look on my blog I've just said about taking a pensioner to York on Saturday!!! LOL Not sure it's a random act of kindness, but she does live on her own and doesn't like driving very far - like an 80 mile round trip!!
Good luck to all the entrants!!
Count me in, I would love that!
I am giving a friend crochet lessons, and a bunch of yarn and hooks.
Marilyn
What a wonderful Act of Kindness, I would love a chance to be the lucky recipient. AS for my act of kindness, a woman commented on a bracelet I made and was wearing. I took it off and placed it on her wrist and walked away.
What a wonderful idea!!! :) Thank you for your kindness!! :)
Marilee, this is the best giveaway I have ever seen! I love the idea of performing a random act of kindness.
How nice! Congratulations to the winner.
That's wonderful giveaway! Love
your thread and works so
much, but haven't to try yet.
Actually have done two nice things at weekend:)
Please count me in.
Just your thread would be worth it! Woohoo! My girls and I have fun doing surprise acts of kindness. They love doing them in secret and watching smiles show up everywhere.
That is a great giveaway and one that anyone would like. It is always good to do something nice for someone.

One item would have been great but you are so generous. It's feels good to do for others every day. drewrd@optonline.net
I would love to experiment with the findings with the thread. I hope I win.I would make something with the winnings and give something away.
For my act of kindness - I picked up a piece of paper that had fallen to the floor and gave it back to the elderly gentleman who had trouble bending over to get it. I don't know if it counts because I did it before I knew about your giveaway.
My husband and I are sponsering a teen to attend camp this summer. His mom just had major surgery and they don't have the money.
Your works are amazing!
I start tatting when I came to USA 3 years ago and I really enjoy it. I always put my tatting earrings into my "Thank You Card". I can say it helps me to express gratitude and to make new friends.
And especially using your thread make my tatting works more beautiful! I appreciate you very much!

Every time I go to this shopping centre, there in the food hall is a guy, he walks around the tables looking for left over food! As I was sitting there eating MacDonalds, he had a free coffee so I purchased him bacon & egg burger as I walked up to him, he grabbed it so fast to look in paper bag! So now I always buy him something to eat when I go shopping..
Also we have a bus ticket $2.50 travel on all day.. After shopping and I get off bus, there is always a older lady sitting at the bus stop, I always pass my ticket on, so that person can use it! They are always happy! Because they are saving money.
Wow! Your giveaway is what I call a RAK :) Please include me.
$2 may not be a lot but to an old man who collects used cardboard boxes to sell, it helps in many ways.
This is a wonderful give-a-way! Happy to comply. There should be so much more RAK in the world! Thanks for doing this and reminding us of that. :-)
I learned to tat from my grandmother when I was about 10 years old. I have been tatting off and on for the past 50 years. My random act is to teach one of my friends to tat. Learning to tat is a gift that keeps on giving. Hopefully, the people that we teach will pass the art onto others.
For a while, I was beginning to think that it was a dying art. Then I found your blog and a few others. That got me going again. Thank you!
Such a wonderful give away would warrant a significant act of kindness!
It would be wonderful to win, but doing random acts of kindness is always a wonderful idea. This past weekend I was at several different stores waiting to checkout when the person near me didn't have enough change so I paid for the difference in their purchases.
thanks for the giveaway... nice requirement.. I will do something good..

Thank you for your kindness, I try my best
Good morning fromdunny Tennessee! Today I am helping my brother and sister-in-law move, something I traveled 4 states and two continents to accomplish. A good deed if ever there was one! ;) thanks for the giveaway, and the reminder to be kind!!
What a wonderful idea. I'd love to have all that tatting stuff, 'cause I'm such a junkie! I've been covering shuttles to donate to our tatting guild to give to newbie tatters who come to learn (without cost!).
What a generous give-away. Please enter me in. I have done something kind for a stranger last night
Thank you!! I needed this lovely reminder to treat others kindly. I'll be watching for my opportunities to spread random acts of kindbess.
A wonderful giveaway, I'd love to be entered! Everyday I look for opportunities to do something kind for others - helping out a senior neighbor, letting someone with one item go ahead in the grocery line, even a kind smile to go far :) Imagine if everyone just took a minute to be kind to each other!!!
What lovely items you are including in your giveaway! You are very generous. I do a lot of volunteer work but I will definitely look for opportunities to do RAKs. I really enjoy your blog & your work. Thanks.
thanks marilee for this wonderful giveaway and for the kidness idea!! so kind of you!!! greetins from Argentina!!

Thanks for your generosity! I will be passing on an act if kindness at the hospital coffee shop today.

Please consider me in this give away as I am interested. I am a Girl Scout leader and I have mainly Juniors with a few Cadettes in my troop. Currently we are doing a food drive for our local community food bank. I have also donated clothes to people who are in need of them.
What a great idea. I will leave one of my painted rocks down on the beach for someone to "find". We have a LOT of visitors in town and it is sure to go to a good home. Thanks for reminding us all to think of someone other than ourselves. Please put my name in the drawing!
I love this giveaway! I will keep my eye out for extra opportunities for random acts of kindness.
I really appreciate your kindness in giving all of us an opportunity to receive some of your items.
I love your jewelry, particularly earrings you design.
Just finished some raspberry jam for my family away from home. Thank you for your blog.

What a very generous giveaway! I have done many kind things and will continue doing so, thank you for inspiring kindness!
I would like to nominate Fox, she has done more than 1 act of kindness just in the past couple months. Twice I have opened my mailbox to discover tatting presents from her. They brightened my day when I was spending the last 2 months in the hosp with my husband after cancer surgery. To come home to a surprise in the mailbox was a huge day brightener.
Such an amazing giveaway from an amazing woman :)
My random act of kindness occured yesterday (June 29) on my way back to Nashville after visiting family in Michigan. We, of course, got caught up in the traffic congestion in Louisville, KY and we creeped along for approximately an hour trying to cross the bridge. Just before reaching the bridge, with the end of the jam in sight, I happened to notice a young couple with children pulled as far onto the shoulder as they could get. They had run out of gas in the midst of all the congestion. I loaded them all in the car with myself and the kids I was travelling with (at least they were in air conditioning again) putted along for another 30 minutes or so, finally got through traffic and took them all to a "travel" center. Once there, I bought everyone cold drinks, bought a gas can and gas, loaded everyone back up in the car and got back into the traffic headed the other way. After a very long time, we were able to get back over to the other side of the interstate headed back the direction we were originally travelling. We inced along until we were back reasonably close to their vihicle, at which point the young man left my vehicle with the can of gas, ran ahead and got their car running. When we pulled up alongside their car, the young woman and their children only had to leave my car and get into theirs which was running and cool. I let them merge out in front of me and everyone was back on their way to their destinations.
Please enter me into your giveaway! I just love your threads!!! I have two days this week in which I'll be running errands, and now I'll also be looking for opportunities to do something nice for a stranger during those times. Thanks for the great reminder we can always be kinder!
Don't add me to the list...
I just wanted to let you know that I think this is a Great idea for a giveaway! :) Everyone needs to spread more kindness!
What a great idea!
My parking garage is under construction. My neighbour's car was covered in dust, so I cleaned her windows so that she could safely see.
Thanks for sharing!

Fabulous idea! Perhaps I shall treat the person behind me next time I go to Starbucks, or make cookies for the soldiers working on base with my husband this week, or both!
What a terrific idea for a giveaway! Please count me in. We try to make opportunities to do random acts of kindness each and every day. Yesterdays involved transporting a young couple, who do not have a car, out of our city to their vacation destination. And today was a simple act of holding doors for a gentleman on crutches trying valiantly to navigate his way into a building! Big or little, it alls helps make the world a little better place!
What a wonderful giveaway! I love that you have asked a random act of kindness to be part of the requirements.
Someone paid for my husband's coffee yesterday because he held the door open for them, so that will be my next act of kindness too. Coffee for the next person in line behind me. :)
What a wonderful giveaway! Lately, I pick up some clothes and books for the church nearby, hope this will help some people. I would love to win the giveaway and explore more of the Tatting world.
Great idea. I know what I'm gonna do too!
What a generous giveaway! I will be donating a couple of crochet blankets to Goodwill this week.
What an awesome idea. Makes me smile to think of all of the good deeds that are happening. Thank you!
Thank you for this giveaway. What a prize!
What a nice idea. Please take me in.
I am going to send two jars of Chutney to a not so well known friend. She has to figth breast cancer and now was left by her boyfriend as well.
We were talking to a third Person about what to do with a heap of fruits. my friend suggested Chutney. So I know she likes it and she sure will be very surprised to receive some out of the blue. She needs some good thoughts of a friend.
Love it! This is a very nice idea and i hope that i still have a chance to win ;)
Wonderful Giveaway! I'd love to be entered. Many thanks!
I'd love to be entered in your giveaway!
As a random act of kindness, I gave the woman (new immigrant, very little english) in front of me at the grocery store a couple dollars so she wouldn't have to choose what to put back when she didn't have enough. She wasn't buying any "junk" food, all necessities. And I did it on Saturday before I saw this post!
Wonderful thing to do for a giveaway. I will be doing my act of kindness this afternoon for my hubby by doing something while he is at his doctor appointment.
What an amazing idea! Please enter me in this drawing. The threads would go great for more things I can make for an upcoming charity auction.
You are all so very kind!!!!!
It's a wonderful surprise to me that so many people actually posted details about their random act of kindness, I wasn't expecting that - but the stories are so truly inspiring!
I've decided to add another prize package similar to the one posted. So, I'll draw 2 names.
Will close the commenting now. Thank you so much to everyone who entered the giveaway, you're doing more good than you know!
