Nectarine, Golden Fleece. Dusty, and Knitty Gritty

Here are the colors recently added to my Etsy shop.

"Nectarine" you've seen before, and yes, inspired by the fruit.

The "Golden Fleece" is simply the colors used in my other batch called "Golden Glow", but without the brighter yellow.

The "Dusty" reminds me of the color of my sons' twill pants - sort of dark olive green, but not quite - with some brown added.

"Knitty Gritty" turned out just a little differently from my first batch of this colorway, (this is all hand dyed, after all!) but is very similar.

Several of these are not what I'd call "pretty", but I think they have a place in the color palette, too. More design choices! The "Dusty" might work for tree branches, bark, stones, etc., to set off brighter colors in floral designs.

Is the next latest batch coming soon or later? This is because I would like to check out with several items from your store.

Clyde, you have it right! I am busier than a bee in a field of clover, and just as happy :-)
Zarina, the next batch may come in about two weeks.
Diane, you are so supportive! Thanks so much.

Don't you just love experimenting?
These are all great!

Thanks, yes, I do have fun experimenting! In fact, I've been looking at the lovely warm browns in my cello and trying to figure out how to duplicate those wonderful reddish browns in thread...maybe someday!

Wow. You have been busy. I see why you have no time for TIAS! The colors are nice. And yes, the less "pretty" colors do have a place and fill a need. You do a great job!

Thank you for making me want more thread....like that's all I need is MORE thread. Those are beautiful..I especially like nectarine...but maybe that's cuz I really do like the fruit. Beautifully, done, Yarnplayer.

Thanks, tattycat and tattingchic. I do realize that I'm making people want more thread, but hey -
if I didn't dye thread they'd still be wanting more thread anyway, and have less to choose from :-)

You are absolutely right, of course! We'd be back to buying all of that dull thread instead of your beautiful HDT!

Nectarine is especially yummy-looking! I think it's my favorite of what you've shown us here. Beautiful colors!
